What I Offer
Swedish Massage
This is the classic go-to for relaxation. I use long, flowing strokes and gentle pressure to promote circulation and ease general muscle tension. It’s a wonderful choice for overall stress relief and to simply help your mind and body slow down.
Deep Tissue Massage
When you need more than just surface relaxation, deep tissue massage is designed to work on the deeper layers of muscles. I use firm, deliberate strokes to help relieve chronic pain and muscle stiffness. This modality can be a bit more intense, but I always adjust the pressure to match your comfort level.
Myofascial Work
I specialize in myofascial techniques for those who have struggled to receive the deep pressure they need or who deal with chronic tension. My approach involves slow, deep, gliding movements using very little lotion or oil. While it can feel intense—even sometimes a bit uncomfortable—the therapeutic benefits are significant, helping release the tight bands of fascia that contribute to ongoing discomfort.
Trigger Point Therapy
This technique focuses on pinpointing and applying pressure to specific “knots” or trigger points in your muscles that refer pain to other areas of your body. It’s highly effective for breaking up localized tension and alleviating headaches or chronic aches.
Sports Massage
For clients who are active, recovering from an injury or sporting event, or looking to boost performance, I offer sports massage techniques. This modality incorporates a blend of stretching and targeted pressure to help improve flexibility, reduce muscle soreness, and support recovery after strenuous workouts.
